Sally's Hawaiian Rib Sauce

This marinade sauce is a great way to add a little 'Hawaiian Style' to your next batch of barbequed ribs or grilled chicken. Sally spent many years of personal testing to find the right distilled adult beverage to make this marinade just right.

Adjust portions depending on how many ribs you want to marinade

Prep Time: 5 - 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Preparation:

Peel the dry husks off the garlic cloves and smash both the garlic and the ginger

Mix all ingredients together

Put your ribs and the mixture together in a big plastic zip lock bag or other appropriate container and put it in the refrigerator

Turn the ribs over in the marinade sauce occasionally and at least once before barbequing. Leave the ribs in the refrigerator until immediately before you put them on the grill.

Marinade Time: 8 to 24 hours

Cooking: Dip the ribs or coat them with sauce each time you turn them on the grill to keep them tender and juicy.

Save the left over sauce for the next time you want to marinade, just add more ingredients if needed. Many competition grill masters say a sauce is not ready for competition until at least the fourth or fifth generation. Keep refrigerated.
