Pickled Jalapeno Burgers

Use more or fewer jalapenos to suit your taste buds. Remember to properly de-seed and rinse the jalapeno peppers, and pat them dry once they have been chopped, this will help prevent your burger patties from being too moist and falling apart on the grill.

Makes: 6 to 8 burgers

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 6-8 minutes

Ingredients:

Preparation:

Combine seasonings in a bowl, including finely chopped jalapeno peppers

Add ground beef to the mixture and mix thoroughly.

Hand form a half a dozen or so patties how you like them.

Cooking:

Combine seasonings in a bowl, including finely chopped jalapeno peppers

Cook your patties for around 3 minutes on each side until they are cooked though, once cooked, put a slice or a handful of your favorite cheese on top and let it sit and the heat in the burgers will melt it slowly over the top.

Cheeses: Use whatever cheese you like, a mix of shredded Monterey jack and sharp cheddar tastes great with jalapenos burgers. Try experimenting with the cheeses you like.
